Start button

Is there any way to change the color / background of the Start button?
I am using the classic structure and small icons.
thanks

You can change the theme but I am afraid you can't change the actual start button. There are/will be ways... but none of them are endorsed by Microsoft ;o) I know someone who actually knows the woman who made the Start orb - very cool ;o)

I don't have Vista, just lurk here to keep up with things for future knowledge, but I use TClock on my XP Pro and it allows the start button to be altered. I have absolutely no idea if it will work for you, but hey, you never know unless you try. Have fun trying to follow the directions.....they are "interesting" but I'm not a pro (just married to one) and I managed.
